5 GOOD REASONS TO COOK FOR YOURSELF
1. Home food is fresh and more nutritious, since it is processed at lower temperatures and served immediately. Meat and vegetable purees produced on an industrial scale are sterilized at 120 degrees for at least 20 minutes. Fruit and vegetable purees are often manufactured from concentrated puree (in this case, you will see water as an ingredient on the label). During concentration, the puree passes through a multistage heat treatment, destroying the nutrients.
2. Home food is safe. Glass baby bottles and jars are not safe, because the glass may chip during transportation.
3. You can save a lot of money (up to 50% of your baby food budget).
